You Make Me Happy When Skies Are Gray

When Cash and I were playing Jack-In-the-Box this morning (he's Jack and hides behind a chair and I'm Jack's mom or wife depending what Jack decides; I turn Jack's crank and he pops up from behind the chair) he kept referring to me as "dear". Like, "Look West just fell down dear. What's wrong with him dear?" I asked him why he was calling me dear and he said, "Because you're my sunshine." I just melted into a puddle. I gave him a hug and told him that was a really nice thing to say to Mommy. To which he replied, "Aw shucks Mommy."
