I went to the masters yoga class this morning. After warming up with some sun salutations, we worked on the arm balance Eka Pada Galavasana or Flying Crow. This link has more information about how to do it. I wasn't able to get into the pose fully but the instructor said we'd be working on it for a few weeks. I'm going to practice it this week after my regular workouts.
This weeks workout plan:
Monday - Advanced Vinyasa Flow at Zona Yoga
Tuesday - Run four miles on treadmill
Wednesday - Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones DVD
Thursday - Run four miles on treadmill
Friday - Power to the Peaceful Yoga DVD (or rest depending on how I'm feeling)
Saturday - Run seven miles outside or on treadmill
Sunday - masters yoga class
Breakfast (Panera)
Mango smoothie
Pumpkin muffie
Coffee
Lunch
1 piece leftover pepperoni pizza
2 apple slices
Diet Cokie
Dinner
3/4 gardenburger w/Swiss cheese
2 servings fries
Diet Coke
Finally a day filled with fruits and veggies!
