I'm sore from running yesterday! I guess there are a few muscles that P90X didn't get to. This morning I did the beginners portion of the Yoga for Dummies DVD. It was just 12 basic poses so it was really easy. I think it's good to go slow sometimes and really concentrate on all aspects of the poses though so I did get something out of it. Next time I'll do the intermediate portion.

Okay, today was not a good eating day for sure. On my food diary entries, when I have a bad eating day, I'll give REASONS why - not EXCUSES. The difference is that I'm not trying to justify why I ate badly; I'm trying to figure out why I ate badly so I can make better choices should the same situation come up in the future.
So the reasons for a crappy lunch at McDonalds:
1) Travis is out of town so I had to get up at 6am to workout and since I didn't go to bed til almost midnight last night, I was tired and my defenses were down.
2) West stayed home from school sick today and I had to take him to the doctor and then run errands. We didn't eat lunch til 1:30pm so I was too hungry (more defenses down). Also, instead of telling West, "We're eating lunch at Quizno's or Panera or some other healthy choice" I asked him where he wanted to eat lunch. Of course he said McDonalds. Duh.
So next time:
1) Go to bed earlier when Travis is out of town! (and go to bed earlier in general)
2) Do not EVER ask the boys where they want to eat. Either offer them a choice between two healthy restaurants or just tell them where we are going. Also, since we were eating out maybe we could have eaten in between the doctor's appointment and the errands so I wouldn't have been so hungry by the time we actually ate.
