Yesterday I finally acheived what all runner's aspire too - running "in the zone." I started out on the treadmill with no goal in mind of how far I was going to run. I decided to just run until I felt tired. Five miles later I was still going and I hadn't even taken any walk breaks! I actually could have kept going but my ankle was starting to feel a little funny so I stopped. I haven't run more than two and a half miles in a long time so I didn't want to overdo it and injure myself.
